标题: How it is scientific for the integrative medicines
摘要:

The integrative medicines are referred to the traditional medicines originated naturally over various regions of world-wide. They are contrasted to the analytic medicines which have been developed and evaluated as absolutely scientific, since Hippocrates (called as the father of the medical sciences) inaugurated his experimental projects, and because modern sciences with multiple joints have succeeded his doctrine. However, modern medical sciences confront some serious limitations imbedded in their analytic approaches, attempting to find a resolution inherited in the integrative medicines, so called as the alternative medicines. Unfortunately disregarded by scientists and public people, the integrative medicines have not cultivated their theoretical paradigms countered to scientific methodologies, mostly relied on mythic and ambiguous concepts. In the same condition, Asian traditional medicines tries to cover all the medical processes with Gih (), which could not be accepted as scientific as most natural sciences. However Lee, Shaw, and Jin (2017) proclaimed that Gih might be scientific as defined as psychosomatic processes between body and mind, which could be well known to philosophers, and accepted by medical scientists and psychologists. Therefore, this study attempts to propound that the integrative medicines could be scientific copied by a scientific theory of Gih as proposed, demonstrating some reports of their treatment cases as Acupuncture and Moxibustion, Herb, Placebo, and etc. Further, this study reports the mental effect of some integrative medicines, compared to the analytic medicines in condition of the same deceases. So this study suggests that some limitations of the analytic medicines could be supplemented by application of the integrative medicines hoped as scientific.

Key words Integrative medicines, Analytic medicines, Gih, Psychosomatic processes, Placebo effect.

简介:
His scholarly post is a distinguished professor at Gyeongsang National University, Republic of Korea, and a senior scientist at Haskins Laboratory, Yale University, US. His Ph. D was earned from Seoul National University, Republic of Korea, by a thesis concerned to ‘phonology and morphology’, the problems of which have been analyzed further by his recent papers (Lee & Callero, 2016) and granted successively by N. I. H. His research propensity is represented by his paradigm as ‘Gih’ (Lee, Shaw, & Jin, 2017), which is posited as one of ‘the third entities’ to integrate ‘mind and body’, and ‘subject and object’. The Gih paradigm is refined on ‘scientific philosophy’ and applied to review the problems of ‘language’, ‘social relation’, and ‘perception and action’, which let him known as a cognitive psychologist and a scientific philosopher. Adding personally, what he is absorbed in is practice of some martial arts.
