Biography: 
Dr. Fadzli Mohamed Nazri has a research interest in risk assessment, seismic hazard, structural analysis, numerical simulation, and modeling. On top of this, his research has given him a deeper understanding and desire to learn more about earthquake engineering. Currently, he is an Associate Professor of Structural and Earthquake Engineering in the School of Civil Engineering at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). He has published 8 books, more than 60 reputable peer-reviewed journals in the field of structures and infrastructures related to earthquake engineering, book chapters, and codes/guidelines with the Department of Standard Malaysia. He holds grants at the National and International levels related to the application in earthquake research areas and various copyrights related to the earthquake engineering field. He is serving as a keynote and invited speaker at the national and international levels. He has also been a guest scientist at Hacettepe University under Tubitak Fellowship and visiting scholar to a few universities in China, Indonesia, and United Kingdom for the last few years. Currently, he serves as a Lead Guest Editor for a Special Issues “Frontiers in Disaster Risk Reduction for Sustainable Development” for Advances in Civil Engineering Journal by Hindawi publisher.
